2/365 – Cold=Soup

When I woke up and saw it was 14 below zero, I reached for the nearest Mark Bittman book and started on a soup endeavor. Chickpea Sausage Soup. It was a warm winner and I look forward to repeating and re-eating.

I also tried my hand at Mark’s quick bread and missed that one by a mile. Way too dense. We still ate the heck out of it but I have ideas on how to correct my mistake next time… OFF TO THE KITCHEN!
