He’s a babe on a mission. Marching homeward. Stopping from time to time spot an airplane passing by. Hoping to make it home in time to make his Mama laugh.

I think the 365 is taking it’s toll. Not on me (I’m still loving it… just wish I had more time to commit to it) but on the family.
Innocence is being stolen.
My 14 month old little guy should be thinking about toys and the little "gift" he’s going to leave for Dad in his diaper. But instead I’ve turned him into a modeling robot. I pull out the camera, put it up to my eye and, "cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeez", his Pavlovian response takes over rendering him helpless to the joy of the toys surrounding him. I’ve created a monster… but a cute one at least.

We scored some passes to the Minnesota Zoo from our local library and had a lovely family outing. The boys loved it. My favorite animal to see was the Grizzly bears. The fella in the picture above was baring his teeth and growling at another bear. I’m pretty sure if there wasn’t thick glass between us and them I very well might’ve soiled myself.

We stopped by The Hub to look for a new helmut and to top of the tires on the bicycle trailer since our pump is leaking more air than pumping. We poked around this great store and found some sweet future wheels for the 3yo. Shhhhhh… don’t tell him that we might be planning something for Christmas. Thankfully I know he doesn’t look at my photostream… or know how to read yet.

I had a hard time picking between this one and the one of the boys watching it rain from the porch with the sun shining.
But some thing about this picture compelled me. The way it became eerie and ageless simply by desaturating it. I’m sure no one will care except me but, darn it, welcome to the 365 railroad pic.

We had a blast at the “Great Minnesota ge together” today. A beautiful day for it as well. The boys loved having their Mimi and PawPaw along and we stayed a lot longer than any of us would’ve thought.
The 3yo was infatuated with the skyride so I took him up. What a great way to see the sights!

My Dad and StepMom are in from Atlanta and the boys are super excited. Sadly, I didn’t get any fancy pictures of the boys with their Mimi and Pawpaw but there is tomorrow… when we tackle the MN state fair!

Some folks are having fun with a lake creature, so I thought I stage appropriate photo of my sighting. I see this on the way to and from work. Makes me smile.

We finally replaced our cheapy couch with a nicer loveseat. With such limited space in our house we decided to go with the loveseat as opposed to the couch. Looks cozy to me.
